Meet Nidhi Chouhan, a long-standing Peace Partners volunteer and a passionate advocate for practical peace. Based in West London, Nidhi brings a thoughtful blend of creativity, compassion, and strategic clarity to her work and volunteering.
Currently working as an Instructional Designer, Nidhi combines her expertise in learning strategy, content design, and human-centred thinking to develop engaging educational experiences, often shaped by her strong belief in empathy and lifelong learning. Her work bridges the worlds of corporate learning and humanitarian values, with a growing interest in Neurodidactics (brain-based learning). After joining as Charity Secretary in 2022, Nidhi will shortly be transitioning to an advisory role, continuing her journey with the team in a new capacity. Her connection to Peace Partners is rooted in her enduring appreciation for the message of peace shared by peace educator Prem Rawat. Over the years, this message has become a compass in both her personal and professional life, offering strength, clarity, and a reminder of the deeper purpose behind volunteering: “As a long-time admirer of Prem Rawat’s message, I’m grateful to support Peace Partners initiatives through creative and strategic roles. His words of peace have guided me through life’s challenges and inspired me to share peace in simple, meaningful ways.” Nidhi continues to support Peace Partners in various behind-the-scenes capacities, including content creation and media planning. Outside of her work and volunteering, Nidhi is deeply moved by classical Indian music and timeless literature. Her bookshelf features favourites like Hear Yourself by Prem Rawat, The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran, and Thus Spake Bhisma by M.M. Thakur, books that mirror her own journey toward inner growth and conscious living. We are delighted to have Nidhi as part of the Peace Partners team, and look forward to continuing our shared journey of peace and purpose! This short profile was prepared in collaboration with Olivera Stevanic as part of the new ‘Volunteers Voices' series – a space where our dedicated team members share their journeys and personal reflections.

ABOUT US Peace Partners is a dynamic volunteer-led charity that aims to bring together and work with individuals, groups and organisations who share our vision of a world where all people have access to sufficient clean water, nutritious food and personal peace. We support global humanitarian programmes primarily through partnering with the Prem Rawat Foundation and its Food for People initiatives. Trustee David Hughes, who was a member of the presentation team, writes: “Peace Partners was pleased to support our Partner, The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF), at the Rotary International Annual Conference 2025 in Calgary Canada. Rotary has 1.2 million members in over 200 countries. The convention was attended by 16,000 Rotarians from around the globe and within the House of Friendship, a huge exhibition hall, a Peace Park highlighted projects and programmes for Rotarian peace-building and conflict prevention. TPRF was invited to present The Peace Education Programme at the Peace Park twice, once in a poster presentation and once onstage. The onstage presentation was attended at full capacity, and since then, individuals from the USA, Canada, India, Nigeria, Ghana and Ethiopia have followed up by attending webinars and/or enrolling in the Programme” Onstage presentation Peace-building and Conflict Prevention is one of Rotary's seven areas of focus, making the convention an important venue to present the Peace Education Program.
