Trustee David Hughes, who was a member of the presentation team, writes: “Peace Partners was pleased to support our Partner, The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF), at the Rotary International Annual Conference 2025 in Calgary Canada. Rotary has 1.2 million members in over 200 countries. The convention was attended by 16,000 Rotarians from around the globe and within the House of Friendship, a huge exhibition hall, a Peace Park highlighted projects and programmes for Rotarian peace-building and conflict prevention. TPRF was invited to present The Peace Education Programme at the Peace Park twice, once in a poster presentation and once onstage. The onstage presentation was attended at full capacity, and since then, individuals from the USA, Canada, India, Nigeria, Ghana and Ethiopia have followed up by attending webinars and/or enrolling in the Programme” Onstage presentation Peace-building and Conflict Prevention is one of Rotary's seven areas of focus, making the convention an important venue to present the Peace Education Program.
