The Prem Rawat Foundation Fundraising Team Dinner and Talk 4 July, The Greene Room, Brighton With help from Wendy Martin and Robin Watkins from Peace Partners, an evening buffet and talk was hosted by Marci Klein on behalf of The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF). The gathering was a way for TPRF to thank Peace Partners Trustees for their generosity for over ten years. Irish Friends of TPRF, an organisation based in Ireland, was also invited so TPRF could thank them for their longstanding support. Marci, TPRF's Development Director, expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has given their time, effort and commitment to helping people around the world. Donations are deeply valued as they provide vital funding for the foundation’s programmes and initiatives. Founded in 2001, TPRF is an extension of peace ambassador Prem Rawat's vision—love and care in action. Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, the foundation has developed its signature initiatives while also providing $7 million in humanitarian grants. TPRF employs only three full-time staff, keeping overheads to a minimum. Peace Partners has no staffing overheads at all, which is very unusual for a charity, meaning every donation goes directly to the causes it supports. Its charitable aims enable it to partner closely with TPRF.For the past 11 years, Irish Friends of TPRF have run a Sunday bric-a-brac stall in St. Patrick's Park, Dublin, raising funds for the TPRF Food for People programme. People regularly donate because they know their money is helping very disadvantaged children. In addition a proportion of donated items are now regularly sold online. It is such a joy and privilege, both individually and as part of a team, to participate in working for peace. There is a certain magic, quiet strength and inspiration in being actively involved. Thank you to everyone who attended and is helping to build creative collaborations across these three teams.
