At Peace Partners we believe in the inalienable rights of all to a warm, nutritious meal, and to ensuring that no one is left wanting this holiday season. The challenge of food scarcity is greater than ourselves. It demands a collaborative. That’s why this year we are proud to support FareShare UK in our Food Security Winter Appeal from Monday 7th December to Sunday 31st January.


Who are Fareshare?

For more than two decades, FareShare UK have been providing nutritious meals to vulnerable communities, partnering with local area grocery chains and restaurant owners to help re-direct food surplus where it’s most in need. To date, FareShare UK has redistributed more than 24,000 tonnes of food to its nearly 11,000 charity partners, serving up 57 million equivalent meals to hungry homes and kitchenettes across the country

Other things to know

• Full amount £n is passed to charity
• Standard UK mobile network provider text charges apply UK only service
• The maximum that can be contributed via a donation using Donr’s Text Giving service is £20. If a supporter would like to make a larger contribution, they can do this by sending multiple texts until they have donated their desired amount
• There is a £240 per mobile number per month limit on Donr’s Text Giving service and users should also be aware that UK mobile networks have per service per day limits on how much can be spent via a person’s mobile bill. UK mobile network operators can provide more information on these limits
• Some operators impose monthly caps to try and stop users running up big mobile bills. If a supporter would like further information, their mobile network operator may be able to help
