Peace Partners is the UK affiliated partner of The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF). In partnership with TPRF, we run peace, food security and humanitarianism programmes within our region, including: Fundraising
In times of hardship Peace Partners works with our partner and connected organisations to raise funds in support of vulnerable communities in the UK and abroad. For example, during the 2020 COVID-19 crisis we raised over £5,000 in support of the coronavirus response efforts of St Mungo's and The Trussell Trust. Pledge to Peace
Peace Partners is amongst the institutions, organisations, and enterprises making a commitment for a future of peace and human dignity, through The Bruxelles Declaration - Pledge to Peace. The Bruxelles Declaration "Pledge to Peace" is a declaration of Intent, established at the European Parliament. Its signatories are institutions, organisations and companies who pledge to put in place projects and actions promoting a culture of peace. Mayors for Peace Initiative Mayors for Peace is a multilateral initiative which involves stakeholders from all over the world. This organisation recognises the need to contribute to the attainment of lasting world peace and promoting the total abolition of nuclear weapons. Peace Partners collaborates with Mayors for Peace to deliver the Peace Education Programme in support of their objectives. Ubunto Round Table Project
In partnership with The Tutu Foundation UK, Peace Partners supports the Ubuntu Round Tables Project, bringing disenfranchised young people and their local police officers together to build respect and understanding and so reduce Police-Youth antagonism and build the trust that underpins safety on our streets. We work with our partners to share, promote and advocate peace, food and water security, and humanitarianism across multiple platforms and channels. For example, working with partners like PeaceCast.tv enables us to share our message beyond our audiences, ensuring the proliferation of peace and humanitarianism. Another way we promote our message is through putting on a wide variety of events in collaboration with our partners. Our events range from small intimate educational sessions through to peace forums and workshops. |
