 Working towards peace together21st September 2020 is International Peace Day, and the theme designated by the United Nations (UN) this year is "Shaping Peace Together".
Last year, many people attended a wonderful Peace Partners event at Fairfield Halls with a variety of speakers and activities. This year, Peace Partners is hosting a three-day social media campaign on September 20th, on September 21st International Peace Day itself, and then a reflection day on September 22nd to raise awareness of this important day and associated peace activities. Peace Education Programme goes virtual “I am so proud to be a part of the participants of TPRF's Virtual Peace Education Programme, I have increased knowledge and understanding in myself and in the way I think, see, and perceive things in life and around me. I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the Virtual Peace Education Programme.”
“I would love to spread it to the world.” After this enthusiastic response from Addy, who attended out first ever Virtual Peace Education Programme in the summer, how could we do anything other than plan another one! So …. we’re excited to tell you that preparations are now busily underway for our second Facilitated Virtual Peace Education Programme. In the autumn, the public will be invited to attend an introductory webinar to find out about the course and then to register for The Prem Rawat Foundation's 10-week Peace Education Programme. Look out for our upcoming promotions and please pass them on to any individual or organisation you’d like to invite.
