The Peace Partners team would like to wish you a joyous and peaceful Festive Season! The end of a year invites us to look back and review what has happened during the period. The first months of 2021 were promising, and a hope started to blossom that a ‘normal’ life was within reach. This upbeat feeling of hope and positivity manifested itself in lots of different activities at Peace Partners, including a virtual fundraiser Quiz, celebrating our 5th anniversary, and a Sponsor Thank You webinar. But then later in the summer something unexpected happened which took us by surprise: the resignation of our CEO and founder, Juli Hammersley. It took quite a few months for us to come to terms with what was a big change, and – in the end – we had to accept that we needed to modify some of the goals we had set ourselves for 2021. With the New Year fast approaching we wish you a healthy and prosperous 2022. As a team and as a small charity we face new challenges, but we hope that you will feel – as we do – inspired to make this world a happier and more peaceful place. Warmest wishes The Peace Partners team
