Peace Partners wins £1,000 Movement for Good award!

Peace Partners has won a £1,000 Movement for Good award thanks to nominations from the public. Peace Partners is one of 500 winners in specialist insurer Ecclesiastical's Movement for Good awards, which is giving 1 million to charities this summer.

This award will encompass and fund projects that really impact and make a difference to the lives of many. Specifically, this gift will be used to support:

• Humanitarian relief projects
• Provide food for those most in need 
• Support vulnerable and homeless people in the community, 
• Raise awareness of environmental and sustainable solutions
• Enable people to discover their own inner resources and personal peace, through the Peace Education Programme and UK Peace Projects. 

​Members of the public were invited to nominate causes close to their hearts, with 500 gifts of £1,000 available for donation. 13,695 charities were nominated by an amazing 253,879 members of the public.

We will use these funds to keep on doing what we do, supporting those people most in need, provide financial assistance during humanitarian crisis working with our partners, enabling individuals to discover their own inner resources, such as inner strength, personal peace, and contentment, and raise awareness of the environment and more.
