Included in this country lineup is the FIRST NATIONS PeaceCast, in recognition of their sovereignty, guardianship of humanity’s natural resources, and protection of the environment. “Action for Peace,” the United Nations Peace Day theme, reflects the heightened urgency many around the world are feeling to resolve conflicts and live in peace. These country PeaceCasts exemplify expressions of this human desire for peace by shining light on peace-building efforts, actions large and small, in countries around the world.
