plans for Peace Day 2021

In recent years we have undertaken initiatives - sometimes smaller, sometimes larger - to celebrate the International Day of Peace, now held annually on the 21st September. This year the UN’s theme is ‘Recovering better for an equitable and sustainable world’.

​The team here at Peace Partners are looking at ways we can support this year’s celebrations, bearing in mind ongoing post-Lockdown uncertainties. Please watch out for future announcements, and if you’d like to contribute your input to our preparations, please do let us know by emailing us at

Last year Peace Partners' celebration took the form of a Virtual campaign. In 2019 we hosted a very successful ‘Practice Peace’ event at Croydon’s Fairfield Hall, which was streamed globally through our partnership with PeaceCast.tv.
