VIRTUAL FUNDRAISING FUN QUIZ 28th FEBRUARY - REPORT

Thank you so much to those who joined our first virtual fundraiser quiz on Sunday 28th February. Over 50 guests participated and we loved seeing you all. It was great fun and, with a few post-quiz contributions, we reached our target amount of £1,500!

Congratulations to our winning team, the Filton Girls, as well as The Random Nuts, who scooped prizes for best fancy-dress outfit. You were amazing and we want to offer our gratitude for donating your prizes to those who need them more.

We’d also like to give a big shout-out to Quizmaster Extraordinaire Jeff Allen, Tim Hain for the music that kept us entertained and everyone who put so much effort to make this event happen. Click here to listen to the song Tim played live and enjoy!

How your donation will be used
Making a difference is important to us, that is why we’ll be donating all money raised to Centrepoint to help homeless young people during these unprecedented times. You can view a video here to see how your donations will help advance Centrepoint’s work. We’re passionate about supporting them and as we continue to do so, we will keep you updated on their work.

There’s been lots of interest for us to host another quiz and we’d like to do just that.

Thank you also to everyone who completed our follow-up questionnaire, which will help us make the next one even better: its main conclusions were to confirm again that you enjoyed the quiz, that only a few participated as teams (a definite advantage!), and the use of breakout rooms needs a bit more practice.
